Fear doesn’t mean you’ve missed God’s call, and it doesn’t disqualify you from answering it. Jeremiah reminds us that courage isn’t the absence of fear, but choosing to trust and obey God in the middle of it. You don’t have to wait until you feel fearless to say yes. Sometimes faithfulness means doing it scared.
Cooking without the right ingredients can often ruin a meal. Likewise, when we leave out mercy, humility, and grace, our relationships suffer. Jesus teaches in Luke 6 that the measure we give is the measure we receive, making mercy the right ingredient every time.
